Social Reflection

It seems like just yesterday when I was dreading that day, the day when you have to hold a boy's hand! This seemed like the worst thing in the world for me as I was a year six. People SO overrated this and the social... was ... SO... FUN!!!

First we came and gave our notice to the wonderful teachers. Then we walked in to see all the AMAZING dresses and outfits that the students were wearing. The were bowties and ties and some people were wearing full suits. The girls all had really pretty dresses and had lots of different hairstyles.

And the dances were sooooo FUN. There was so much energy and everyone was happy. Long story short it was an awesome experience and if I could do it again then I definitely would. Don't be scared of going just because of one little thing you don't want to do. Because trust me you WILL regret it if you do.

Quick write 2

Hidden away at the back of my drawer… you would never guess what I found… I found… all of my old baby photos? That is not what I was expecting. Well it wasn’t really my drawers they were sort of… kinda… my mum’s. I may have been snooping around but that is because I am just a very curious girl, and I can't help it.

I scroll through the photo album and don’t seem to remember any of these moments. I find a picture of me covered in broccoli, my green spotted face looked as green as the bib I was wearing, or maybe that’s covered in broccoli too.

I turn the page only to see another photo of me on a skateboard, oh I remember that! I think to myself. In this picture There is me and my sister sitting on a skateboard that was pink and had barbie on the bottom of it. We were munching on apples, which made my tummy growl.

The next page is covered in pictures of my uncle, my aunty and my cousins. I can’t count them there are too many, but I decide to give it a go. One… two… three… wait have I counted that one already? I start again, one… two… three… four… five.... wait I missed one. Finally coming to my senses I decide to give up.

I look over to the other side of the page, and see a bunch of hair taped to it. WOW did they rip this out of my head or something. I begin to get a little creeped out.

Just as I turn to the next page my mum walks in and asks me to put them back. Lucky I did, I think I saw a glimpse of something I was not supposed to see... I hesitantly place them back in the draw. And ask my mum,
“Why didn't you want me to look at them?” In a very curious way,
“Because I am an adult and I can do what I want. I look over at her and think to myself, ‘what a pathetic excuse!’ Not knowing that I said that out loud she sends me to my room, at least now I know where she hides them!

Quick write 1

If I could do it all over again… I would, IT WAS HORRIBLE. I was sitting in My class and we were doing a test, a hard test… I mean HARD, and I failed it I know I did and do you want to know why well here it goes…

The boy next to me was tapping on my head
The girl next to me was running out of lead
She gets up only to sharpen her pencil
With the electric sharpener she has
And does again and again I swear I am going to have a spaz
She sits back down and the boy behind me gets out his box of juice
He slurps and slurps and slurps and slurps until it finally he gets on my nerve
I get up While the timer is still running
To make sure I still look stunning
I walk back in with a big big grin and suddenly I start to cough
I cough and cough with my face in my arm
And don’t know where I am going
I bump into something and feel it move…
And wobble…
OH NO IT’S MISS FISHER’S COFFEE!!!
And that is why I failed my test

Star I “loved” it
Star The last bit was awesome
Wish nothing

My olympic narrative

From the 5th of august to the 21st of august countries from all over the world are coming to rio for the 2016 olympics. There are 42 sports and I am going to talk to you about one of them, diving. Diving off a 10 metre diving board is equivalent to jumping off a 3 storied building, so go ahead, jump off a 3 story building with nothing to support you oh and don’t forget to smile your on T.V.

YOU ARE DISQUALIFIED! But why?

If you do not follow the rules then you get disqualified sounds simple aye but why if I told you the rules that you have to follow? Would you say, oh well I wouldn't get disqualified? or would you say, oh those are pretty tough rules to follow? Either way I am going to tell you the rules (brace yourselves.)  Men have to complete 6 dives and woman have to complete 5. The dives can be a forward, back, reverse, inward or arm stand. No type of dives can be repeated other than the last one for the men. All springboard diving must be judged from a 3 metre high springboard. There are a lot… A LOT more rules but I think I want to save my breath for the rest of the year.

Perfect practice makes perfect performance.

Ever heard that saying before well the practice at the rio olympics this year was not quite perfect due to green water it is not quite clear why the water is green but it was and the practice was cancelled. What they normally do is, 4 hours a day in and out of the pools. They spend the same amount of time out of water then they do in and sometimes even longer.

The world record

The world record was set by the contestant by the name of matthew mitcham. He is a australian olympic diver that completed the height of 10 metres, 1,000 cm 32.8084 ft. That is the highest score in history!

Diving off a 10 mt diving board is equivalent to diving off a 3 storied building so go ahead jump off a 3 story building with nothing to support you and oh don’t forget to smile, you are on T.V.
